“TALLER DE BÓVEDAS TABICADAS”
Convocan:
“1er CONCURSO INTERNACIONAL PARA ESTUDIANTES
DE
DISEÑO CON BÓVEDAS TABICADAS SIN CIMBRA”
1. OBJETIVO
El objetivo de este Concurso es premiar el diseño de un elemento constructivo, mobiliario, escultura, cubierta, forjado, muro, conjunto, prototipo, módulo… para realizarse con bóvedas tabicadas.
Este Concurso es el primero convocado por el Grupo “Taller de Bóvedas” con el fin de difundir y estimular diseños nuevos con las bóvedas tabicadas en cualquier ámbito.
Además, se propone como aliciente que el ganador podrá ver su diseño plasmado en la realidad en el transcurso del 7º Taller Avanzado de bóvedas 2018.
2. CONDICIONES
Diseño
El diseño será de forma y función libres.
Materiales.
Deberá poder construirse con piezas cerámicas o cualquier material de pequeño formato (24x12x3 cm) aproximadamente unidas entre sí con yeso, mortero, cal, tierra o cualquier otro material, pero sin elemento alguno de anclaje, armaduras, sujeciones auxiliares, etc.
Dimensiones. El modelo debe quedar inscrito en el interior de un volumen de dimensiones aproximadas de 3,00x3,00x3,00 m.
Construcción. El modelo debe ser pensado para que su construcción en la realidad sea posible.
Deberá poder construirse sin cimbra y será estable en todas las fases de ejecución. Podrán utilizarse guías* para el trazado de la geometría en el espacio, pero no cimbras.
*(Las guías no tendrán función estructural)
3. DIFUSIÓN Y CONVOCATORIA
Se hará difusión de la convocatoria en las páginas web del Concurso ( https://concursodebovedas.blogspot.com.es/), de Hispalyt, de S.O.M., de La Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, del Técnico de Lisboa así como a través de los medios de comunicación de los distintos Colegios y Escuelas de Arquitectura de España y del mundo (páginas webs, prensa, boletines o circulares).
Estas bases, así como la documentación adicional (Textos, fotografías, etc.), estarán disponibles en la página web del Concurso ( https://concursodebovedas.blogspot.com.es/) y enlaces en las Web de Hispalyt , de la Fundación laboral de la Construcción, de SOM y de la revista CONARQUITECTURA a partir del miércoles 28 de febrero de 2018.
4. INSCRIPCIÓN
En el Concurso podrán participar de forma individual o por equipos los alumnos matriculados en el momento del concurso en cualquier Escuela de Arquitectura e Ingeniería del mundo.
Cada equipo de forma conjunta y cada persona de forma individual podrán presentar una sola propuesta. Los premios están destinados a las propuestas y habrá un solo premio a cada una, ya sea individual o colectiva
La INSCRIPCIÓN PREVIA SERÁ OBLIGATORIA Y GRATUITA y se realizará a través del formulario
A. DATOS PERSONALES:
Datos de los concursantes, como DNI / Pasaporte, Escuela o Universidad, contacto, e-mail.
B. PERFIL ACADÉMICO:
Los estudiantes, no deberán aportar certificación alguna en la inscripción, pero de resultar premiados se les requerirá la documentación justificativa de la matrícula del curso 2017-2018. En caso de no aportarla quedarán excluidos del concurso y despojados del premio, pasando éste al premiado inferior.
C. LEMA: Constituido por dos letras y cuatro dígitos (XX0000) Tamaño Arial 72.
Servirá para la identificación posterior de los trabajos presentados. Será el que figure después en el panel como única identificación.
5. PRESENTACIÓN Y ENVÍO DE PROPUESTAAS
D. ENTREGA:
La documentación a presentar será la siguiente:
En FORMATO DIGITAL a través de la web en el siguiente enlace:
− Un panel DIN A2 (PDF - VERTICAL) y con el texto de la memoria descriptiva incluido en el panel
(Máximo 500 palabras, en castellano o inglés. Formato ARIAL 10).
En el panel en la parte superior derecha figurará el LEMA (constituido por dos letras y cuatro dígitos) Tamaño Arial 72
− Se presentará un ÚNICO ARCHIVO con un tamaño máximo de 10 MB. La información en formato digital se enviará a través del enlace del Concurso, siendo una información que no afectará al anonimato de las propuestas para el fallo del Jurado.
La presentación de la propuesta será de técnica y contenido libres, aunque deben incluir:
− Planos, esquemas o diseños 3D claros que permitan la restitución del modelo en la realidad.
− Escalas: Libres (Será obligatorio incluir escala Gráfica).
− Se permiten Perspectivas, fotomontajes y fotos de maqueta, maquetas digitales o dibujos a mano.
A partir del lunes 5 de marzo de 2018 se podrá realizar la inscripción y presentar la documentación de los proyectos.
La fecha límite de inscripción y presentación de proyectos a este Concurso será:
hasta las 0.00 del lunes 16 de abril de 2018
En el momento de la inscripción y en el de la subida de los archivos se enviará una respuesta automática si se ha realizado correctamente. Por ello, no será necesario mantener correspondencia con la Secretaría del Concurso para justificar dicho extremo.
Las consultas, en caso de existir, se remitirán por escrito a (concursodebovedas@gmail.com), hasta el viernes 20 de marzo de 2018. La contestación de forma global a las consultas, así como la documentación complementaria que se considere conveniente, se encontrará en la web del Foro Cerámico a partir del viernes 27 de marzo de 2018.
6. JURADO
El Jurado externo estará compuesto por 3 arquitectos/Ingenieros de reconocido prestigio internacional

Y el jurado interno estará compuesto por el equipo del Taller de Bóvedas:

El examen de la documentación por parte del jurado se realizará una vez finalizado el plazo de entrega. Una vez fallado el resultado, la Secretaría del Concurso pondrá a disposición del Jurado un sobre cerrado con los datos de contacto de los participantes de cada uno de los proyectos recibidos, identificados por su lema, que será abierto una vez se falle el Concurso. Este procedimiento asegura el anonimato de las propuestas para el fallo del Jurado.
La comunicación pública del fallo del Jurado se hará público el viernes 4 de mayo de 2018, durante las sesiones teóricas del Taller de Bóvedas. Previamente se habrá comunicado de modo privado al ganador para poder facilitar el inicio de los trabajos de construcción del modelo durante el Taller. También al segundo y tercer clasificado para que puedan planificar en su caso el desplazamiento al Taller, ya que parte del premio es su inscripción gratuita. Además, a partir del lunes 7 de mayo estará disponible en la web del concurso y a través de los distintos soportes de comunicación, se dará cumplida difusión de los ganadores del Concurso.
7. PREMIOS
1er premio dotado por S.O.M: 800 € y la construcción del modelo ganador durante el “VII Taller Avanzado de Bóvedas Tabicadas”
2º y 3er premio y (Hyspalit y Fundación Laboral de la Construcción- Castilla la Mancha): 2 premios iguales de 300 €
● A los tres primeros premios se les invitará a la asistencia al VII Taller Avanzado de Bóvedas Tabicadas
● La revista CONARQUITECTURA regalará a los tres premiados una suscripción vitalicia a la edición digital de la revista.
A todos los participantes, una suscripción anual a la revista CONARQUITECTURA
● La organización del concurso, invitará a los premiados a la asistencia al VII Taller Avanzado de Bóvedas Tabicadas”
Los premios tendrán las retenciones fiscales correspondientes. El premio no podrá quedar desierto. El Jurado se reserva el derecho de otorgar otras menciones especiales sin dotación económica.
La entrega de los premios se organizará en un acto público, en el que a los autores de los proyectos ganadores y mencionados se les entregarán los talones nominativos y un diploma acreditativo.
También se organizará una exposición con los proyectos premiados y preseleccionados y se publicará un libro conmemorativo que presentará al menos los proyectos ganadores, mencionados y seleccionados de la manera más completa posible.
La fecha de la entrega de premios y de la exposición se facilitará a los ganadores una vez que se haya fallado el Concurso. A través de los distintos soportes de comunicación, se dará cumplida difusión de la entrega de premios, de la exposición y de la publicación del libro del Concurso.

− Aceptación de las bases / Los concursantes se comprometen a aceptar tanto las Bases como los acuerdos y el fallo del Jurado, los cuales serán inapelables. La Secretaría y/o el Jurado resolverán cualquier duda sobre la interpretación de las presentes Bases, así como de otros aspectos relacionados con el Concurso, que tengan, como finalidad la resolución del mismo, sin causar merma a los derechos de los concursantes.
− Propiedad intelectual / Los concursantes se comprometen a no divulgar sus propuestas antes del fallo del Jurado. Los proyectos presentados serán propiedad del Taller de Bóvedas, pudiendo ser publicados y expuestos a criterio de la misma.
− Anonimato / Para garantizar el anonimato del Concurso todas las propuestas se presentarán bajo lema constituido por dos letras y cuatro dígitos, excluyendo los paneles sin identificar.
− Criterios de exclusión / La remisión de la propuesta fuera de plazo. El incumplimiento de las normas de presentación y anonimato. La existencia de inexactitudes y contradicciones flagrantes en el contenido de la propuesta. Ser incompatible a los criterios expuestos en estas bases, así como cualquier otro incumplimiento de aspectos recogidos en las mismas.
− Trabajos no premiados / Los trabajos no premiados podrán utilizarse para las publicaciones o exposiciones previstas por parte de la organización del Concurso, salvo renuncia expresa comunicada a la secretaría del Concurso.
− Protección de datos / De conformidad con la Ley 15/99, los datos personales de los inscritos pasarán a formar parte de un fichero informatizado responsabilidad del MUPAAC, con la finalidad exclusiva de información y comunicaciones referentes al concurso. La inscripción a este Concurso supone su conformidad a estos hechos, teniendo derecho al acceso, rectificación, cancelación y oposición de sus datos dirigiéndose a la secretaría del Concurso.

“TIMBREL VAULT WORKSHOPS”
CALL THE COMPETITION:
"1st INTERNATIONAL CONTEST FOR STUDENTS
FOR THE
DESIGN OF TIMBREL VAULTS WITHOUT CENTERING "
1. OBJECTIVE
The objective of this Contest is to reward the design of a constructive element, furniture, sculpture, cover, forged, wall, set, prototype, module ... to be made with partitioned vaults.
This Contest is the first one organized by the "Taller de Bóvedas" Group in order to disseminate and stimulate new designs with partitioned vaults in any field.
In addition, it is proposed as an incentive that the winner will be able to see his design reflected in reality during the 7th Advanced Workshop of vaults 2018.
2. CONDITIONS
Design:
The design will be free in form and function.
Materials.
It should be able to be built with ceramic pieces or any small format material (24x12x3 cm) roughly joined together with plaster, mortar, lime, earth or any other material, but without any anchoring element, reinforcement, auxiliary fasteners, etc.
Dimensions.
The model must be inscribed inside a volume of approximate dimensions of 3.00x3.00x3.00 m.
Building.
The model must be designed so that its construction in reality is possible.
It must be able tocentering.
* (The guides will have no structural function, at most a small support for the beginning of the first sheet)
3. DISSEMINATION AND CALL
There will be dissemination of the call in the web pages of the Competition, Hispalyt, SOM, The Construction Labor Foundation, the Técnico of Lisbon as well as through the media of the different Schools of Architecture of Spain and the world (websites, press, bulletins or circulars).
These bases, as well as the additional documentation (Texts, photographs, etc.), will be available on the Contest website (https://goo.gl/forms/RKyyZQtTLh6vdxOh1) and on the Hispalyt website, the Labor Foundation of the Construction, SOM and the magazine CONARQUITECTURA as of Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
4. REGISTRATION AND PRESENTATION OF PROJECTS
In the Contest the students enrolled at the moment of the contest in any School of Architecture or Engineering of the world will be able to participate individually or by teams.
Each team and each person can present a single proposal. The prizes are intended for the proposals and there will be a single prize for each one, either individually or by teams.
The REGISTRATION WILL BE COMPULSORY AND FREE and will be made through the form available on the website of the COMPETITION (https://goo.gl/forms/RKyyZQtTLh6vdxOh1), and will include:
A. PERSONAL DATA:
Data of the contestants, such as DNI / Passport, School or University, contact, e-mail.
B. ACADEMIC PROFILE:
Students must not provide any certification in the registration, but if they are awarded, they will be required to submit the supporting documentation for the 2017-2018 course. In case of not contributing, they will be excluded from the contest and stripped of the prize, passing this to the inferior prize.
C. MOTTO:
Consisting of two letters and four digits (XX0000). Size ARIAL 72
It will serve for the subsequent identification of the submitted works. It will be the one that appears later in the panel as the only identification
5- SUBMIT
The documentation to be presented will be the following:
· A DIN A2 panel (VERTICAL PDF) and the descriptive text on the panel (Maximum 500 words, in Spanish or English, ARIAL format 10).
The MOTTO (consisting of two letters and four digits) Size ARIAL 72 will appear on the panel at the top right.
· A SINGLE FILE with a maximum size of 10 MB will be presented. The information in digital format will be sent through the link of the Contest, being an information that will not affect the anonymity of the proposals for the jury's decision.
The presentation of the proposal will be of free technique and content, although they should include:
- Plans, diagrams or clear 3D designs that allow the restitution of the model in reality.
- Scales: Free (Grafic scale will be mandatory).
- Perspectives,photos of model, digital models or drawings by hand are allowed.
As on Monday, March 5, 2018, registration will be possible and the documentation of the projects will be presented.
The deadline for registration and submission of projects to this Contest will be:
until 12.00 A.M. on Monday, April 16, 2018
At the time of registration as well as when the files are uploaded, an automatic response will be sent if it has been done correctly. Therefore, it will not be necessary to communicate with the Secretary of the Competition to justify this point.
The queries in case of existing, will be sent in writing to (mailto: concursodebovedas@gmail.com), until Friday March 20, 2018. The answer of global form to the consultations, as well as the complementary documentation that is considered convenient , will be available on the Competition website starting Sunday March 25, 2018.
6. JURY
The external jury will be composed of 3 International prestigious architects / engineers

The jury will examine the documentation, after the deadline. Once the result has failed, the Competition Secretariat will provide the Jury with a sealed envelope with the contact details of the participants of each of the projects received, with their identification number, which will be opened once the Contest is decided.
This procedure ensures the anonymity of the proposals for the jury's decision.
The Jury's decision will be published on Friday, May 4, 2018, during the Lectures of the Vault Workshop. Previously, the winner will be communicated privately in order to facilitate the start of the model construction in the Workshop. Also to the second and third classified so that they can plan the displacement to the Workshop, since part of the prize is their free registration. In addition, from Monday, May 7 will be available on the website of the contest and through various communication media, will be fulfilled dissemination of the winners of the Contest.
7. PRIZES

• • The three winners will be invited to the VII Advanced Workshop of Timbrel Vaults
• • The magazine CONARQUITECTURA, will present to the three winners a lifetime subscription to the digital edition of the magazine.
• To all participants, an annual subscription to the magazine CONARQUITECTURA
The prizes will have the corresponding tax withholdings. The prize cannot be deserted. The Jury reserves the right to grant other special mentions without financial endowment.
The presentation of the prizes will be organized a public act, in which the authors of the winning and mentioned projects will be given the nominative heels and an accrediting certificate.
An exhibition will also be organized with the awarded and pre-selected projects and a commemorative book will be published that will present at least the winning projects, mentioned and selected in the most complete way possible.
The date of the awards ceremony and of the exhibition will be provided to the winners once the Contest has failed. Through the different communication media, the award ceremony, the exhibition and the publication of the Contest book will be fully disseminated.

- Acceptance of the rules / The contestants agree to accept both the Rules and the agreements and the decision of the Jury, which will be final. - Intellectual property / The contestants undertake not to disclose their proposals before the jury's decision. The submitted projects will be the property of the Bóvedas Workshop, and may be published and presented at the discretion of the same.
- Anonymity / To guarantee the anonymity of the Contest all the proposals will be presented under a motto consisting of two letters and four digits.
- Criteria of exclusion / The submission of the proposal after the deadline. Failure to comply with the rules of presentation and anonymity. The existence of flagrant inaccuracies and contradictions in the content of the proposal. Be incompatible with the criteria set forth in these rules, as well as
-Non-winning works / Works not awarded, may be used for publications or exhibitions planned by the organization of the contest, unless expressly renounces communicated to the secretariat of the competition.
- Data protection / In accordance with Law 15/99, the personal data of those registered will become part of a computerized file under the responsibility of MUPAAC, with the exclusive purpose of information and communications concerning the contest. The registration to this Contest implies your agreement to these facts, having the right to access, rectification, cancellation and opposition of your data by contacting the Secretary of the Contest
